The staff are friendly and welcoming, atmosphere fun, amazing aesthetics and exceptional food. Dining at Koko is something I always look forward to!
This is one of my favourite Melbourne restaurants, I have been here numerous times and each time its been sensational.
The staff go out of their way to assist, the food is fanatstic and restaurant caters for all group sizes. Highly recommend! Your details will be kept strictly confidential and will not be passed onto any third party without your prior consent.

We had a wonderful experience at Koko, beautiful food, excellent service, with a very relaxing ambience. Thank you! Great experience from booking to eating Professional, energetic staff particularly Caroline Delicious food and great atmosphere.
Good service and great quality of food. Very delicious. Terrible terrible food. We booked a table for a la carte dining and ordered a set.
The food tasted like it was stored in the fridge for a while. They didnt even ask how would us like our steak.
Staff have poor manners not rude but rather just dont pay attention to any detail. Overall it looks like more of a family business kinda restaurant than fine dining.
Chef Martin showed his exeptional skill in making our lovely feast for the eyes and the palate. High praise to the seafood and wagyu beef!
Other staff were also attentive to our needs. The cultural interiors, view of the waterfront sunset and night view of the city added to the dining experience.
We will be looking forward to our next visit. Really great ambience and food for special occasions. Unfortunately some of the things we ordered did not come and we had to cancel the order but the waitress was really nice and apologise for it.
Good experience. Excellent decor. Food was beautiful. Was an excellent night, look forward to going back. Deliciously decadent Japanese fare.
I went there for my birthday and don't regret my choice. Koko has a nice atmosphere, very friendly staff, even explaining the dishes when they bring them to you.
If I do come back I would definitely have to try the teppanyaki menu. It is a bit pricey, but well worth it IMO. A very attractive and authentic setting but that is kind of expected.
The food tastes so appealingly fresh. About half way through, we were a bit concerned about the volume, fearing it wasn't going to be enough. The next round of beef and meaty fish put those concerns to rest.
The we got the magnificent pavlova dessert. Crisp, creamy and chewy. And enough to satisfy most diners. A truly pleasant evening.
The food and service was great. Was just a family dinner. Cant remember who served us, but she was awesome at what she did and recommendations.
We did a la carte, and cant complain, really good. The wagyu stake was very tender, salads and seared meets were great. We did not do the tepanyaki, but that looked very interesting.
It is a bit on the pricey side, so take that into account. Will go again. The corn and edamame visually looked like popcorn, it was fun breaking it apart, but I found it dry.
The last few savoury dishes was grilled gm Wagyu sirloin steak served with KOKO steak sauce. Side salad and miso soup to accompany the steak.
Wagyu was so soft that it just melted in my mouth. Shiitake mushrooms were treated well and roasted potatoes were crispy outside.
J kept dipping the potatoes with the KOKO sauce. Miso tasted the same as any other miso, nothing special that I could taste. It was nice for the waiter to ask which part of the fish.
Finally, come dessert we chose one of each for a variety. It came with seasonal fruits with a bit of everything. But it was still nice to try. Yuzu taste was quite mild, I could taste a lot of white chocolate.
The stick was also white chocolate. I saw the green base being the green tea that added the crunch to the dessert. The mousse was airey and soft.
I was somewhat relieved that we chose the a la carte menu for our romantic date night. Overall, we had a lovely celebration of our anniversary at Koko.
