Beer isn't free...

First it was 2

…then 10 and now 25.

lol. This would be kinda awesome if it wasn’t costing Idaho taxpayers $30,000 a day to watch these people flex their egos.

Since the beginning of the session there has been one overriding question that gets to the heart of the issues they currently find themselves: Who is running this chicken shit operation? Three months of fiddling with sovereignty, where flags are made, tea bagging and the Great Nonini's golf game and they're no closer to the end than when they started.

Otter is not going down as the great communicator. Senate leadership was voided when Little left their ranks. And nobody has yet written the article on the schizophrenic mentality of the House, the real bad guy in the scenario. They should all be ashamed.

  • It's really quite amazing how amateurish Idaho politics really is.

Seems like everyone is running around with their heads cut off not having a clue about what step to take next. The rank and file legislators seem like children watching the school clock just so they can get home while the big boys puff their chests at each other.

The Teabaggers should be happy. Since most of the state government will shut down June 30 at this rate, the taxes can be lowered, lol.

I know its usually bad form to blame the voter, but that's how I see this. Say what you will about the Dems, but I just don't think we would see this kind of bullshit going on if we had more party balance, or better yet, a Dem Governor. There would still be plenty of bullshit and grandstanding over ideology, but at least we wouldn't have this married siblings version of one-party in-breeding that obviously leads to severe dysfunction.

  • I agree, in Idaho, the voters get what they deserve, no doubt about that.

We'll never move forward in Idaho until we have some semblance of balance in our system.

  • Yeah, we're out of money, these assholes say, then they stay in longer and cost us more money. Did I mention that I think they're assholes?

Sorry for the language but I am simply disgusted. With all of them.

Balance in Canyon County is having both Protestants and Republicans on the Library Board. ;-)

It is kinda awesome, and really funny. I griped about KBSX recently, but I gotta admit, it was fun to hear the clip of Otter vetoing various and sundry legislation. I wrote a blog post about it. At $30k a day, it's easy to see that our fiscal conservatives are more interested in their egos than our money.

LOL! How can you tell the difference?

  • Well, if you liked that you would liked the news clip too, like a petulant child slamming the VETO stamp down.

“Take this Human Rights Commission!”. SLAM!
