Now to finish out this week’s Stone Brewing theme with an old standby, Stone’s IPA.

I don’t have to say much about this beer if you’ve at all been paying attention this week, thus here are two simple points to remember; 1.) It’s a Stone Brewing beer. 2.) That means it’s good.
Hoppy, piney, a wee bit bitter along with some fruity aromas and a citrus aftertaste, this beer just screams classic IPA. It is however important to mention that although this IPA clocks in at 6.9% ABV the alcohol isn’t overpowering at all, but you do know that it is there.
It’s also relatively easy to find, the Boise Co-op pretty much always has six packs on hand and Market Limone in Downtown Nampa just got a shipment of it in today (where I got mine). I should note that if you can get your hands on its bigger imperial brother; Ruination IPA you should grab some of that too, it’s a great beer, and also pretty easy to find around the Valley.

Yea beer. I really like the aroma of Stone IPA and the fact that if doesn't go too far with pineyness. It's there but it's not overpowering, unlike some IPAs. Goes great with a concert at the Neurolux.
Bah. You're so frickin' biased. Has there been a beer you didn't like? But isn't it great to have American beers to compare to?
Didn't like Slim Chance or BrewDog Punk IPA. I've got one I'm going to post next week that I almost dumped down the drain. Gonna give it a second chance before I write about it though.
