It’s really not as bad as some of the review make it out to be, I kinda enjoyed it. There isn’t a lot to it, the complexities are very subtle and at 4.8% ABV it’s very drinkable.
I’d probably buy this again.

I enjoy this ale, but not nearly as much as I enjoy Morimoto’s Imperial Pilsner — which, for the record, my just have the most beautiful color of any beer I’ve ever seen. Unfortunately, that one runs about $15 a bottle, so I don’t see it very often.
I’m gonna have to get the Pilsner again. I had it one time and really felt like I got burned — perhaps a funked bottle?
Cost Plus in Nampa has it right now, that’s where I picked this one up at.
