At long last…
- Representatives Wendy Jaquet and James Ruchti will be on 670 KBOI’s Idaho Talks Live this morning at 8:35 am. Tune in on the radio, or listen live online.
- 3 ex-Governors and some budget-types to serve on Gov. Otter’s stimulus advisory committee. It’s overflowing with lobbyist super powers.
- Wayne Hoffman and I agree on this. Transparency is the key to successful governance. However, good luck getting Idaho’s politicos to open the books on their backroom dealings. Openness and transparency is the greatest threat to Republican rule in Idaho — I’ll be blown away if this bill sees the light of day.
- There is no shortage of crazy when it comes to the Idaho GOP. Personally, I get a big kick out of the main street GOP’ers in this state that think the establishment GOP’ers gives a damn about them or what they think.
- Failed state Senate candidate Clayton Cramer is “literally” ready to march on Washington with pitchforks and torches. I thought it’d take him a year or two before he started advocating violence against his new Democratic Overlords — good thing I didn’t bet on it… oh, this would be example two for bullet point #5. If people like Cramer weren’t seriously suggesting that he and his fellow Keyboard Kommandos overthrow the government with violence, I’d find it amusing.
- John Sullivan: Democrats must clean up GOP’s mess, again. I know, it gets tiring.
- Lookin’ forward to Friday Happy Hour, Dos Equis on tap… only way to start the weekend.

Do you think I could sell some tamales at this event at the Nampa Rec? Some good should come of this protest.
Where do you find XX on tap? Do they XX Dark as well?
Fiestas Guadalajara in Nampa does, no amber, just the regular one.
Those lobbyists aren't just "budget types", they are all former budget chiefs for former Governors. It is a group of Democrats and Rebublicans that have a solid understaning of government fiscal policies and rules at both the federal and state levels and will do a good job of maximizing the money Idaho can use.
Hence "budget-types". I think it's a great group of people.
You sell tamales? And you haven't told me this why?! I love tamales, when done correctly they are truly one of the best foods in the world.
I believe they have the XX amber on tap at Cafe Ole. Seems like there is often a Dos Equis handle at Falcon Tavern during the summer months, don't remember if is regular or amber though.
