Good stuff in today’s Statesman
- Idaho taxpayers continue to get burned by the Idaho State Tax Commission. Richert here and story here. I really hope Sen. Brent Hill continues to kick some ass on this front, talk about a state department that needs a swift kick in the ass and a realization of who pays their salaries.
- What food trends should we expect to see in some local restaurants during 2009? One thing not mentioned in this article is that one of the expected culinary trends of 2009 is an explosion of noodle bars. They say, noodle bars will be the next sushi joints. And I, for one, would love that. One thing I loved about Korea is getting fresh soba or udon noodles — a simple broth, fresh noodles and a raw egg perched on top — Mmmmmm. Good stuff.
