Beer isn't free...

Decisions, decisions, decisions…

Oy… A lot of good shows coming up in the City of Trees:

Sunday Nov. 16th My Brightest Diamond @ The Neurolux.

Monday Nov. 17th Vic Chesnutt and Elf Power @ The Neurolux.

Also on Monday the 17th, one of my favorites; Old Crow Medicine Show will be @ the Knitting Factory. I’m really digging their new album "Tennessee Pusher".

Wednesday Nov. 19th, two more of my favs; The Hold Steady and The Drive-By Truckers will be @ the Knitting Factory.

Then on Thursday the 20th, some up-and-comers that I’m still on the fence about; Dead Confederate will be @ The Neurolux.

…Talk about a post-election week where some tough decisions need to be made.

Went into the “Lux last Thursday, or started to, and they wanted a $12 cover, so we went elsewhere.

Best band name that has played in the “Lux”: Foreskin 500.

Went in there once and, as part of the band, a guy used an industrial grinder on a shopping card. Added bonus; the sparks looked cool.

    All true.

  • Man, if I had to choose I’d go with Old Crow Medicine Show, hands down.
